It's official!! Style Made Simple got a facelift! Heather Boyd and Stacey Michalak have joined forces to plan fabulous events for you! What better way to kick things off then with a little intro. So without further adieu, here's your Style Made Simple Events Team.
Heather Boyd
Heather Boyd is a wedding planner and television producer extraordinaire. She’s been producing television shows for more than twelve years and planning weddings and events for almost a decade. Heather has even dabbled in sales as a wedding gown consultant for a national company, often topping the chart as leading saleswomen for the store. After a friend asked Heather to MC her “Big Day,” she realized the great similarities between event coordinating and television producing, and thus, a passion for events was born. She will take her skills as a national television producer and truly “produce” your event. She loves all-things-pretty as well as the challenge of making an event look like a million dollars, even if the client is “cash-challenged.” Heather has now become too busy to handle the business on her own, so her co-worker and best friend has joined the team. Heather couldn’t be happier to have her fellow redhead as her partner-in-production, and now for the price of one, you get two lean, mean, producing machines. This fiery redheaded duo will take no prisoners, so you can be assured that if you hire this team, your dream wedding will become a reality. Now, (drum roll please) here’s Stacey.
Stacey Michalak
Heather and Stacey became the best of friends after Heather planned Stacey's wedding. What Stacey thought was going to be a picture perfect day soon became the biggest disaster of her life. Stacey had booked her dream wedding location at Berkeley Plantation on the James River. However, nothing could prepare Stacey for the Nor'easter that hit the Richmond area that day. The road to Berkeley was completely flooded and there was no way they could have a wedding there. On one of the busiest wedding days of the year they had only 4-hours to come up with a new plan. Within that time frame Heather helped to find a new wedding location and she worked with Stacey's friends and family to make it everything Stacey could have ever wished for. That was the day Stacey realized that Heather could make even the worst of days beautiful. And it was also the moment in which Stacey knew she wanted to work with Heather to produce amazing events. Stacey is the mother of two girls and has been working in the television industry for over 13-years. Stacey is currently the Managing Producer of a national television show and is known for her creativity and go-getter attitude. She will make sure that your event will be everything you could envision and more. Heather and Stacey are commonly considered the fiery red-headed duo and that's because no matter the obstacle put before them, they will get it done —with style.
